ABOUT US
Waterfind Environment Fund is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the health of Australian river systems.
The organisation directs donations of water and money to accredited environmental watering projects through an interactive web based system.
This allows urban, regional and rural communities to directly assist with the restoration and management of Australian river systems.
Waterfind Environment Fund commenced in 2004 and has attained funding from the Australian Government to achieve the following goals:
promote awareness of the importance of rehabilitating and protecting water dependant ecosystems;
enable underutilised water allocations to be directed to worthy environmental projects;
provide for real-time online water donations through a web-based platform.
The project will contribute to the improved environmental outcomes of the National Water Initiative .
You can become an active participant in the work of Waterfind Environment Fund by making a water or financial donation or becoming a member .
